Hearst Distribution Group - BOSS
This was a front-end design for an application, called the Book Order Solicitation System (BOSS). The application was built for the salestaff who normally use a DOS interface. The objective behind this design was to cause the salesforce who needed to adjust to BOSS, to feel comfortably at ease, and in control. The concept, I developed, was that driving your car, down a long, empty road with no obstructions, is a form of release. A joy ride is a joy ride, because drivers feel comfortable, in control, and relaxed participating it.
